Frith Manor Equestrian Centre is a family-run riding school and livery yard set across 30 acres of North London countryside in Barnet. Lessons are offered on a private or semi-private basis to riders aged six and over, giving each pupil focused time with their instructor. Prices start from GBP 50 for a half-hour private lesson. Hacking is available directly from the yard, allowing riders to take their horses out along nearby trails without the need to box up.
The centre caters to a wide range of riders, from children taking their first lessons to more experienced adults wanting to build on their skills. Private and semi-private formats mean that tuition can be tailored to the individual, whether the aim is confidence building, improving technique or preparing for a specific goal. The family-run nature of the business keeps the atmosphere friendly and approachable.
Facilities include both an indoor arena and an outdoor arena, with the outdoor space floodlit to extend riding hours into the evening. Horses on the yard benefit from a solarium, secure stabling and 30 acres of grazing, while owners bringing their own horses will find parking available for trailers and horse boxes. A range of livery options is offered, including ad hoc, DIY, part and full livery, so owners can choose the level of care that suits them.
Frith Manor sits in the N12 postcode area and is easily reached from across North London. The riding school is open from 10.00 until 21.00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 10.00 until 16.00 every other day, with Mondays closed for the riding school. The yard itself runs from 08.00 to 21.00 Monday to Friday and from 08.00 to 19.00 on weekends and bank holidays. Enquiries about lessons or livery can be directed to the centre by phone or email.
