Downe Court Riding Centre operates in Bromley and provides lessons, hacking access and competition opportunities across several core disciplines, including dressage, show jumping, eventing, arena eventing and showing. Riders can take private one-to-one sessions or join group lessons, with regular clinics also held on site for those looking to broaden their skills under visiting trainers.
The centre is equipped for year-round riding, with a floodlit main indoor arena measuring 65m x 35.5m alongside a floodlit all-weather outdoor arena of 80m x 54m. Grass dressage boards, judges' boxes and a cross-country course with a dedicated training field support a range of training and competition formats. The site is accessible, with lifts available, and includes meeting rooms, an entries office and an overflow car park for busy days.
Downe Court is affiliated with British Dressage, British Eventing, British Showjumping and British Riding Clubs (BRC Area 5), and runs affiliated competitions and qualifiers throughout the season. Beyond equestrian activity, the grounds include dog walking areas and an on-site cafe known as the Hayloft Cafe, and the venue can be hired for corporate days, meetings and canine events.
Riders and visitors should note standard opening hours run from 9.00 to 17.00, Monday to Friday, and enquiries about lessons, memberships, hacking or venue hire can be directed to the centre in Bromley. With indoor and outdoor facilities on hand, the school accommodates training and competition in most weather conditions.
