Compton Grove Farm And Stables

Wetherby, Leeds

BHS approved

Compton Grove Farm and Stables is a BHS approved riding centre and livery yard situated in Collingham near Wetherby, on the outskirts of Leeds. Set within a working farm, the yard combines the day to day running of a busy equestrian facility with direct access to local bridleways, giving riders straightforward hacking straight from the property.

The centre caters to riders across dressage, show jumping, eventing and hacking, with instruction available on site through its own teaching staff. Two floodlit outdoor arenas, one 20 by 40 metres and one 20 by 20 metres, are in regular use and are also available to hire. Showjumps and poles are set out for schooling, and the team hosts clinics as well as regular lessons for riders working at their own pace.

On the livery side, Compton Grove runs half, full and vacation livery packages, alongside extra care and high dependency options for horses needing closer attention. There are 23 stables, ten paddocks, a locked tack room and rug storage. Additional services include clipping, grooming, exercising, handling for vet, farrier and dentist visits, and equine physiotherapy. Yard users have access to a heated kitchen with seating, a heated toilet and changing area, and CCTV with a 24 hour monitored alarm.

The yard is open Monday to Sunday from 08:00 to 21:00. Trailer and wagon parking is available on site, and the postcode for sat nav users is LS22 5DS. The centre is listed on the British Horse Society approved register, having been verified through that scheme. Anyone interested in lessons, arena hire or a livery place can contact the yard directly for current availability and pricing.
