Bristol Riding School

Riding lessons at Bristol Riding School in Olveston are open to riders of all abilities, from complete beginners through to more experienced children and adults who want to develop their skills. Lessons take place in a new outdoor arena with a seated viewing area, so family members or friends can watch from a comfortable spot while riders work in the school. The stables on site house the ponies and horses used in tuition, keeping the horses close at hand for lessons throughout the day.

Children are a core part of the school and can be booked in for individual or group lessons, pony days and structured summer and holiday camps. Birthday parties are also offered, giving young riders a chance to spend time with the ponies and enjoy riding-based activities with their friends. The school welcomes riders of all ages and aims to provide a safe, supportive environment in which to learn.

In addition to standard riding lessons, the school runs special events and SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) sessions, making the facilities accessible to a wider range of riders. The outdoor arena, seated viewing area and stables are all available for riders to use during these activities, and staff are accustomed to tailoring sessions to individual needs. Pony days give children an extended period of time with the ponies, combining ridden work with handling and stable activities.

Bristol Riding School is located in Olveston, within the South Gloucestershire area of Bristol in the South West of England, with the postcode BS35 4HQ.
