Bransby Horses

BHS approved

Bransby Horses is a registered equine rescue and welfare charity (charity number 1075601) based in the countryside near Lincoln. The organisation rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes horses, ponies, donkeys and mules, and welcomes the public to visit the rescued residents throughout the week.

Set across 600 acres, the site functions as a visitor attraction as well as a working sanctuary. Walkways wind through the grounds and are wheelchair and pushchair accessible, allowing visitors of all ages and abilities to view the equines in their paddocks. There is a play park for younger children and dedicated activity trails designed to engage families during their visit. Free parking is available on site.

Practical facilities include a cafe, toilets, a gift shop and a donated goods shop, so visitors can take refreshments and browse a small range of products. An online shop, rug and tack sales, sponsorship schemes, and talks and tours are also offered, giving supporters several ways to engage with the charity's work beyond a day visit.

Bransby Horses is listed on the British Horse Society approved register. The visitor centre and facilities are open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm. Entry is accessible, and visitors are encouraged to contact the charity directly for admission details, group bookings or information about rehoming and sponsorship.
