Aberdeen Riding Club Ltd operates from Peterculter on the western edge of Aberdeen City, combining a BHS-approved riding school with a working livery yard. Lessons are offered to children and adults, from complete beginners through to riders working towards BHS assessments. Private, group and lunge lessons are available, alongside structured stable management training for those who want to learn the practical side of horse care.
The school runs a varied programme of activities beyond standard tuition. Pony days, walkies and holiday camps give younger riders regular time around the horses, while birthday parties can be arranged on site. Aberdeen Riding Club is also an RDA member and holds the RDA Accessibility Mark, so therapy and accessible sessions are part of the regular offering for riders who need additional support.
Onsite facilities include indoor and outdoor arenas, a hacking track, grassland for turnout and a full set of stables supported by a feed room, tack room and tie up areas. Riders are taught in dressage, show jumping and hacking disciplines. Livery owners can choose from DIY, full and grass livery options, with the yard operating as a BHS Highly Commended livery provider and a BHS training and assessment centre for coaches.
The postcode is AB14 0PN, putting the yard within easy reach of Aberdeen and the surrounding villages. Anyone interested in lessons, livery, pony days or accessible sessions should get in touch directly with Aberdeen Riding Club Ltd to check availability and current pricing.
